The modular C.MIESEN ambulance conversion design enables a wide range of different arrangements. So we can flexibly adapt ambulances to your individual needs.

Sidewalls, wheel arches and ceiling of the patient’s room consist of only three GRP form parts. Over the side domes these parts have been stuck together to one piece, what optimizes cleaning and disinfecting. The GRP-parts guarantee for highest hygiene claims. Curves diminish the injury danger for patient and attendant.

The high strength of GRP prevents a splintering of the panels if a crash occurs – an important safety aspect.

There is no end to the possibilities that MIESEN’s practice-oriented interior equipment offers to obtain tailor-made solutions for all applications. These possibilities are further enhanced by combining the standard equipment with MIESEN’s optional interior equipment.

Our side panel seats are in swiveling execution and correspond with the newest ergonomic findings. Folded away, you get a generous open space to care about the patient from the side. All our seats passed successfully the Ml-testing.

MIESEN’s technically advanced interior equipment is not only unmatched for the very practical and convenient layout of the patients compartment with its patients-friendly colored interior, but also for the optimum climatic conditions prevailing in the compartment which are created by a separate heating and air conditioning system for the patients compartment. Not to forget high-stress and durable materials that were chosen in consideration of optimum disinfect ability.

Close to the partition wall is a cabinet, which is perfectly accessible from the side door. Two emergency cases or an emergency back-pack can be stored here. At the front of that cabinet is a folding seat with 2-point lap belt and headrest.

In this conversion we obtain an interior standing height of 1,93 m. Because of the design of our partition wall you can use driver’s and the co-drivers seat in every position. This is our contribution for additional comfort, especially tall persons benefit!

Our ambulance conversions based on the Mercedes Benz Sprinter with highroof are available with an integrated special warning system. The highly durable and energy-efficient LED -Lighting of the emergency vehicle increase the perception on the road traffic.

A striking detail of this roof is the integrated emergency lights system: smoothly embedded into the vehicles surface, an optimized cw-value decreases the fuel consumption and increases the economy of this ambulance. The associated noise reduction results in a larger travel comfort, too.

The special signal system consists of high quality and energy-efficient LED flash modules for front and rear. Of course, this integrated system has the necessary approval of the lights on front and rear according ECE-R65 (Class 2)

The responsible French test institute UTAC confirmed in their official statement that our ambulance modifications on the Mercedes Benz Sprinter / Volkswagen Crafter correspond to the latest conditions of the European safety norm EN 1789:2010 type Al, A2, B and C to the full extent!

Based on the extended E-Class chassis VF-212 we created a brand new ambulance.

Our specialists developed an innovative and pioneering car concept, following the proven and successful BONNA-series, which has led the way for decades.

Reliable cutting edge technology was refined by a lot of innovations. You will hardly find another ambulance, which is able to meet the standards set by our BONNA.

The new concept is based on a high-strength steel construction covered by a GRP shell. Hence we reach a weight reduction for fuel economy, but also a maximum of passenger safety due to the stable structure. With the new design we obtain an interior standing height of 1.90m. This is our contribution for additional comfort and especially for tall person a clear benefit.

Latest material and technical solutions as well as sophisticated engineering knowledge are the basis of our innovative developments. We especially focused on smooth handling, optimized aerodynamics and the specific needs of medical emergency services.

We offer you our ambulance conversions based on the Volkswagen T5 as low roof, medium high roof, high roof and – last but not least – as MIESEN high roof. With our in-house development you will receive the advantages of a high roof ambulance in combination with a tailgate. All ambulance versions will convince through a practice oriented arrangement of the medical equipment as well as a clear structured accommodation of the medical supplies.

Safety and Comfort for all passengers ( patients and paramedic staff) is our highest aim. An easy handling of carrying-chair, wheel chairs and stretchers are in the same focus as the flexibility of all our interior components.

On the Mercedes Benz Sprinter we offer a solution based on the ALKO low frame chassis. The advantages are obvious and can be found in the reduction of the vehicles total height as well as in a lower entry level. Due to the lower center of gravity this solution convince with a higher stability. Single tires on the rear axle reduce the weight and achieve a valuable space in the patient room by smaller wheel arches. Even the low roof ambulance will convince you through a practice-oriented arrangement of the medical equipment as well as a clear structured accommodation of the medical supplies. The MIESEN Rescue van with box body consists of a self-supporting, insulated sandwich construction, framed with aluminum profiles. Above the driver’s cab the emergency lights warning bar was mounted on the associated roof spoiler. If you wish, the spoiler serves as storage space for helmets – accessible from the driver’s cab. Naturally this ambulance meets the EN 1789, type C. In front of the partition wall cabinets an optional movable patient chair was mounted. Not in use the seat is space-saving folded away.
